As a keen traveler from the United States, I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at the Dutch Barge in Fisherman's Wharf, Sandwich. the 80-foot boat, located right by the medieval bridge in the heart of Sandwich, offered a unique and cozy experience. the free WiFi and river views were a lovely touch, allowing us to relax and unwind in style. Access to the boat was via a gangplank, which added to the charm of staying on the water. the room itself was comfortable and well-equipped, with a kitchenette perfect for whipping up some meals. the separate bedroom with a double bed was a peaceful retreat, and the bathroom with free toiletries was a nice touch. One of the highlights of our stay was the easy access to activities such as cycling, fishing, and canoeing in the area. Being able to explore the charming town of Sandwich on foot, with its shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, was a great bonus. the location was perfect for immersing ourselves in the local culture and history. The attentive host made sure we had everything we needed, and the secure parking nearby gave us peace of mind. the sitting area with a flat-screen TV was a cozy spot to relax after a day of adventure. Overall, our experience on the Dutch Barge was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a unique and memorable stay in Sandwich.
